STATEMENT: Multiple Skills, One Person

Welcome. I'm Jof Davies, and this is my portfolio website. I designed and built it as a practical way to present the range of work I have carried out across my career. I am not a web developer by trade, but over the years I have gained experience in several disciplines, and rewriting a single CV repeatedly for narrowly defined roles became increasingly inefficient. So instead, I stuck them all here.

The site introduces several “versions” of me, each representing a distinct area of expertise. These profiles link to role-specific CVs that draw on more than three decades of professional, amateur, and hobbyist experience. Every CV is accurate and originates from a single, comprehensive biography documenting my work in detail.

Complete honestety upfront, advances in AI-assisted programming have enabled me to realise ideas that previously required skills beyond my technical vocabulary. The structure and function of this site are a direct result of that support: the concepts were mine, and modern tools provided the language to execute them.
